PE Dept. Installs PJUs with Dislocation Arms Type

It is surely more efficient and better in aesthetics

Jakarta Industry and Energy (PE) Dept. has new method by installing street lights (PJU)s with dislocation arms type (tiang gendong). It is applied to repair roads and sidewalk aesthetics in Jakarta. 

Jakarta PE Dept.'s Lighting Division Head, Syamsul Bakhri said, his side installs 200 PJUs with dislocation arms type on Jalan Ahmad Yani, 114 PJUs on Jalan Yos Sudarso, 171 PJUs on Jalan RE Martadinata, and 100 PJUs on Jalan Akses Rusun Pesakih.

PE Dept. Saves PJU Electric Cost Up to 51 Percent

Budget for PJU lamps installation is allocated Rp 3.9 billion, while on Jalan Yos Sudarso is Rp 3.6 billion, on Jalan RE Martadinata is Rp 4.6 billion, and in Jl. Akses Rusun Pesakih is Rp 1.7 billion.

"Lamp installation on Jalan RE Martadinata, Jalan Yos Sudarso, and Jalan Akses Rusun Pesakih is completed. Our target is to complete installation this week," he mentioned, Tuesday (12/18).

He explained, this type of PJU has two dislocated arms with two LED lamps.

"The lamp lights the road has 200 watts power and lamp lights the sidewalk has 80 watts power. It is surely more efficient and better in aesthetics," he stated.
